Jessies Pedigree.pdf

Jessie is Lex's black labrador bitch out of Greenbriar Tumble to FTCH Kenue Fir of Leadburn. Jessie is a kind and loyal bitch with a soft disposition but is not afraid to tackle any cover in search of a retrieve. She has lots of natural ability and is exceptionally good on runners.  3 out of Jessies first litter to FTCH Willowyck Jack Snipe have been trained for competition and done well, namely Woodash Ebony (owned by Lex), Woodash Eddie (owned by Steve & Mary Wells) and Woodash Elsa (owned by Chris Bowers).  Woodash Eddie won the Save The Children Final at Margam Park in 2009 and has competed and won many working tests.  Jessie has now produced a FTW - Woodash Ebony (Poppy) and we have some promising youngsters coming out of her to FTCH Levenghly Peacock.

FTW EDGEGROVE EXEAT OF WOODASH

Jill was out of FTCH Ravensgrove Jessie of Edgegrove to Open FTW Halaze Hickory of Edgegrove. Jill was very easy to train, and like her father won her first ever Field Trial she competed in at the tender age of 17 months. Jill had incredible gun sense and was  easy to handle onto long blind retrieves out to over 100yds. She is the mother of FTW Woodash Roxanne.

Sadly, Jill is no longer with us but she is always in our thoughts…..

FTCH HALAZE LAYLA OF WOODASH

Kims Pedigree.pdf

Kim is out of Housty Flicka to FTW Coppernutt Storm of Woodash.  She is a very clever bitch in general shooting situations i.e. marking ability & runners & has outstanding game finding ability. She won her 3rd trial 'on ice' at the Duke of Beaufort's Estate, Badminton, which is renowned for heavy bramble & plenty of pheasants. She competed in her first Open Qualifying stake for the Championship at Coombe Sydenham Estate when her puppies were barely 10 weeks old & she wasn't back to 100% fitness for the job, but she gave an excellent account of herself & was eventually pipped at the post & was placed 2nd. The dog that beat her was made up to a Field Trial Champion that day. She ran in the 2008 ESS Championships and was awarded a Diploma of Merit

Sally is a very good looking bitch, big and powerful. It took a long time to win with Sally! - sometimes Field Trials are hard work, and an awful lot of luck is needed to win! In her second season, Sally ran in 8 Trials and was up in the awards seven times and included a Guns Choice. She is a very hard going bitch - a proper Spaniel!

EDGEGROVE EVA OF WOODASH

Bonnie is out of Larford Ginny to FTCH Larford Carp.

Well what can we say about Bonnie apart from being a typical cheeky, wilful little cocker, she is a lot of fun.  Dave only trialled Bonnie once or twice, then our son Ben took her on as his shooting dog and had many years of fun with her.  Bonnie is our foundation bitch and we have had some lovely puppies from her.  We currently have 2 young bitches from her last litter to FTCH Mallowdale Zander who look very promising.
