Dave offers all types of training from general obedience to a fully trained gundog. Although we specialize in the Gundog breeds, most breeds are capable of some sort of obedience training. We have helped people with all sorts of breeds from a Terrier to a German Shepherd.
We can offer training on a private one-to-one basis where the owner will come along with his/her dog and has private lessons on how to train and handle their dog. These lessons prove to be very popular.
We also offer on a small scale residential training for suitable dogs, training mainly Gundogs for the shooting field. We usually need 3 to 6 months depending
on the standard and level of training required. On return of the dog to the owner it should walk to heal properly both on and off the lead, hunt and turn on the whistle,
sit and be steady to game etc., sit to flush-shot-whistle and hand signal. It should also be able to handle simple 'blind' retrieves and easy directional work. All training can be tailor made to suit owners requirements.
